Welcome to dennysilic.com. Dennys began his image-gathering career as a DP first in weddings where he won a number of international awards before moving over to short films then features. After receiving an ACS award for an Australian independent film he was hired as cinematographer on one of the first large budget HD features shot in Bollywood. Yes with all the singing and dancing!

In 2003 Dennys became enamored the process of freezing single moments in time, developing a raw, shoot-from-the-hip soulful style that quickly caught the attention of various luminaries in both the music and film industry.

Since then his passion for photography has taken Dennys from Outback Australia to the world over and has seen publication either in or on the cover of magazines such as Lime, Studio France, Rolling Stone, In-Style, Who Weekly, Beat and Impress, GT, Wealth Creator Magazine, Qantas In-flight, Virgin Blue Voyeur Magazine, FilmInk and many national and international newspapers and company annual reports.

In 2005 he was given the opportunity to do an exclusive shoot with Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe. These images were of great importance as they were to show his coming of age to the world and taken on the eve of his 16th birthday.

The shots caught the world by storm in 2005, showing Dan as the versatile and amazingly handsome young man that he is. Since then Dennys has carried out further shoots of Dan for the 2007 release of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, the stunning Australian film: The December Boys as well as Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince in 2009
